Set in the enchanted world of ancient Athens and a nearby magical forest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows four young lovers whose romantic troubles become even more complicated when they cross paths with a mischievous group of fairies. Hermia loves Lysander, but her father insists that she marry Demetrius, who is pursued by the devoted Helena. When the four escape into the forest, fairy king Oberon and his playful servant Puck interfere with a little magic—and suddenly, everyone seems to be falling in love with the wrong person!

Meanwhile, a group of enthusiastic but hilariously inexperienced actors is rehearsing a play for the Duke’s upcoming wedding. Their plans take an unexpected turn when Puck transforms the head of the overconfident Bottom into that of a donkey, leading the enchanted fairy queen Titania to fall hopelessly in love with him. As mistaken identities, magical mix-ups, and mismatched romances pile up, Puck and Oberon must find a way to set everything right before morning.

Filled with comedy, romance, magic, mistaken identities, and unforgettable characters, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies. From feuding fairies and confused young lovers to mischievous magic and a spectacularly disastrous play-within-a-play, the story offers plenty of opportunities for humor, creativity, and imaginative staging. At its heart, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a joyful exploration of love, friendship, imagination, and the wonderfully unpredictable nature of the human heart.
