Lin-Manuel Miranda, of Hamilton fame, had his first Broadway hit with this lively musical depiction of life in the Washington Heights neighborhood of upper Manhattan.  The story explores the need for family and the question of ‘what is home?’ within a framework of Latin music, rap, and traditional musical theatre ballads.  Winner of the Best Musical Tony Award in 2008.
