Fall Triple Threat Theatre Workshops Saturday, October 17th, 2009 ONE WEEKEND ONLY!
The Workshops * Acting: “Acting Like a Pro” Dive into the world of an actor. Learn the techniques and skills necessary to become a working professional!
* Singing: “Singing Like a Star” Whether it’s a ballad or a rock song this class will give you the tools to find your unique singing voice!
* Dance: “Tap Your Way on Stage” This tap class will keep you moving! Learn the skills you’ll need to be in Broadway musicals and much more.
Schedule Acting: 10:00-11:30 Singing: 11:35-1:05 Lunch Break: 1:05-1:30 Dance: 1:30-3:00

The Instructors Nick Jones (Acting Instructor) is a professional actor and teacher. He studied acting at The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts: School for Film and Television. He has worked on many film projects including the feature film The Visitor and the web series Stand Up Guy he has also performed with numerous theatre companies across the valley including Actors Theatre, Broadway Palm, The Hale Centre Theatre, and The Herberger Lunchtime Theatre. Currently he is the Theatre Arts teacher at The Learning Foundation and Performing Arts. Nick has also taught acting classes and workshops for The Academy of Cinema & Television, The East Valley Children's Theatre, and high schools throughout Arizona. Nick is a recent ariZoni nominee, contracted theatre, for lead actor in 2008, is a talented singer and guitarist, and serves on the MET Board. He lives in Mesa with his lovely wife. Meredith Aiken (Singing Instructor) holds an MM in Musical Theater performance from Arizona State University and a BM in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University. Meredith serves as a Faculty Associate with ASU Herberger Institute Community School for Design and the Arts and is a choir/theater/music teacher in the Florence Unified School District. She also has a private voice studio out of her home. An active performer and soloist, favorite roles include: Robin (Godspell), Laurey (Oklahoma), and LaCiesta (Gianni Schicchi). Meredith serves on the MET Board, and lives in the SE Valley with her lovely and talented husband, Brett. Molly LaJoie (Dancing Instructor) is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She is an dancer/actor/choroegrapher and has worked at many of the theatres in the valley including Phoenix Theatre, Childsplay, Broadway Palm West and Arizona Broadway Theatre. Recently she won an Ari-Zoni award for her choroegraphy for Phoenix Theatre's production of The Producers. She also just choreographed productions of Curtains and Peter and the Wolf. Currently, Molly teaches dance at Mesa Arts Academy as well as musical theatre classes for Childsplay and also taught musical theatre dance this summer for Phoenix Theatre's Summer of Dance.
